Windycon 51 Registration

Pre-Registration is online only.

We've made the decision to move all pre-registration to online only. Over the past few years, fewer and fewer of you have used mail-in for pre-registration. Sadly, those few entries are taking more time and resources to process every year. To make registration as efficient as we can for everyone, we are moving to a purely online model.

Now, we understand that there may be extraordianry circumstances where pre-registering online may be difficult or impossible. If those are your circumstances, contact us at registration@windycon.org and we will work with you to get you registered for Windycon.

A unique email is required for each registration.

Windycon uses the email address you provide for a variety of purposes.

• We've adopted shed When you register for Windycon, we will provide your email to sched and you will receive an invitation to create an account for Windycon 51. You do not have to accept the invitation, but a sched account is required to sign-up for limited space events.
• You will need to provide us with the email address associated your registration to transfer your registration, change your badge name, or make any inqueries concerning your registration.
• We do not require you to send us email from the address you provide, just to be able to receive email at the address.

You must have a valid, government issued photo ID to pick up your badge.

We have an obligation to know who is attending our convention. We also need to know that we are giving badges to the correct people. The name on your ID must match the name in your online registration. That is the name that is printed on the back of your badge.

That said, Windycon always wants to use your preferred name when we interact. That is why the badge name you choose is visible. If a member of staff needs to see your legal name on the back of your badge, they will do everything possible to respect your privacy.

As always, talk to us. Email us before the convention or come find us at Registration during the convention. We want everyone to feel comfortable and safe and welcome.

Can I sell or transfer my Windycon membership?

Enough people ask us that question that we created a page to answer it.

I want to change the name on the front of my badge. Can I change it?

• If pre-registration is still open (meaning it is on or before October 15, 2025), you can contact us at registration@windycon.org and we can change your badge name.
• If pre-registration is closed, you can have your badge name changed when you collect your badge or any time at Windycon for a fee of $5.00. The new sticker will be placed over the original sticker.
