This is the BILLETING department. PAY ATTENTION!

We have a new barracks this year. We are at the Westin Lombard Yorktown Center 70 Yorktown Center Lombard, IL 60148.  Members of this outfit who don't know where the new hotel is should consult the Directions.  Upon (or before) arrival, all recruits are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the new Theater of Operations by consulting the Hotel Floorplan.

What does this mean for you maggots? This means that you have nicer and cushier barracks than you have ever had before. This does NOT mean you can take advantage of it! DO YOU HEAR ME? Ten SHUN!  And REMEMBER:  You are responsible for familiarizing yourself with and complying with ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS!

There are over 500 rooms for you in the small amount of time we will give you new recruits and chance to use them. them. RESERVE EARLY and reserve often! For this cushiness and comfort you will be happy to pay the LOW LOW price of $99 per night. Suites are available for your usage at the rate of $159/ night. There are a couple of “Terrace Suites” (read balcony) available for the rate of $199/night. If you would like a suite for personal use rather than a social event (see below) you must follow the same procedure to get one as the social events (again see below) but in the comment field explain that you want it for personal use and it will be assigned to you. ALL suites will be assigned by billeting here on the base.

There is over 39,000 feet of training and liberty space in this facility, enough for you to get lost. There are over 900 PARKING spaces available for your use. I DO NOT want to hear any excuses why you can’t be here! DO YOU HEAR ME?

This new facility is a NON smoking facility everywhere. This does NOT mean that you can sneak a smoke in your room. If you do so the fine will be a MINIMUM of $200. The place to smoke is outside the facility at LEAST 15 feet from any doorway. The butts must be field stripped and disposed of properly in a designated container. The staff and the city of our new barracks take this VERY seriously. Breaking this rule could get you thrown out.

There is plenty of grub available on and off base. There are two fine restaurants and a bar on base for your use. For those who feel you need to leave base and go on liberty you will find 40+ eating establishments within just one mile (not including the mall). If that is not good enough for you the facility offers a shuttle bus to anywhere within 5 miles of the facility for free.

As is custom we will be allowing you to throw social events (parties for you newcomers) and they will be watched. Our MPs will be around to rein in the chaos caused by you animals.

Remember that as representatives of the WindyCon 35 Military you are expected to represent us with decorum and to follow ALL the laws and rules set out by the city, state, and facility. Failure to do so most likely will have your access badge to the base revoked and the MPs may have to put you in the stockade.

Remember maggots, this is a new facility. We WILL treat them well and with the respect they and the facility deserve! They will do the same for us. We want to be with them for a good long time. See you at orientation. Be there ON TIME or EARLY! NO EXCUSES!
